How do I use AMP on mobile?

Once you have set up your AMP pages through the theme editor and published the pages, you are now done. We take care of the rest and now have to wait for Google / search engines to index your AMP pages so that these can be served to your customers.

When you use our app, you create parallel AMP pages of your shop that are super fast. These don't replace your regular non-AMP product / collection / home pages but sit alongside them. Search engines learn about the existence of your AMP pages when they crawl your site next (we publish meta data that makes this possible). Then they add your AMP pages to their indexing queue and later crawl them. Once your AMP pages are indexed you get the SEO benefits of AMP - eg: your AMP pages feature higher in search and in particular on mobile.

So how long does Google take to index your AMP pages? It normally happens in a week but sometimes can take 2 weeks. This is dictated by how often Google crawls your site. You can find more information about this here.
