Configure App Name, Logo & Splash Screen Color

You can fully customize your app's branding inside the App Appearance section — including the app name, logo, and splash screen color. This helps create a consistent and polished experience for your users.

Tab 1: App — Update App Name, Logo, Description & Theme Color

In the App tab, you can configure the following settings:

  • App Logo

Upload a square image that will be used as the app icon on the user’s mobile device.

👉 Recommended size: 512×512 pixels (transparent PNG for best results)

  • App Name

This is the name that appears below the icon on the user’s home screen after they install your app.

  • App Description

This short description helps explain what your app does. It's shown during the installation prompt or in system-level app info, depending on the user’s device.

  • Theme Color

This sets the color of the browser’s top bar (status bar) and the background of the installation prompt UI.

After configuring all these fields, click Save to apply the changes.

Tab 2: Splash Screen — Set Background Color

In the Splash Screen tab:

  • Select your desired background color that will appear when users open the app from their home screen.
  • This color fills the screen while the app is launching, behind the icon.

Click Save to apply the color.

Important Note for Existing App Users

If users have already installed your app before you make these updates:

  • They may not see the changes immediately.

The updated name, icon, theme color, or splash screen will be visible only for:

  • New users installing the app for the first time
  • Existing users who clear their browser cache or reinstall the app

This behavior is due to how PWA manifests are cached by browsers.
