How to Submit Your Mobile App to the Play Store or App Store
If you want to publish your mobile app to the Google Play Store or Apple App Store, we offer full support. This guide outlines the information you’ll need, the steps to follow, and how to share access with our team.
Information You’ll Need to Provide
To prepare your app for submission, you’ll need to send us the following:
App Details
- App Name (as it will appear on the store)
- App Icon (512x512 PNG with no background)
- App Description (short & full)
- Keywords (for search)
- App Category (e.g., Shopping, Lifestyle)
- Country Availability (where you want the app to be listed)
- Testers Email List (for testing the app before it goes live)
Branding Assets
- Splash Screen Background Color
- Screenshots (we can generate if needed)
- Intro Sliders (Images + Short Descriptions shown on first launch of app)
Store Links
- Website URL
- Privacy Policy URL
- Terms & Conditions URL (optional but recommended)
Contact Info
- Support email (shown on the app store listings)
- Developer name (your brand/store name)
How to Set Up Your Developer Accounts
For Google Play (Android)
- Visit https://play.google.com/console
- Sign in using a Google account (preferably a business email)
- Pay a one-time $25 USD fee to register as a Google Play Developer
- Choose Organization account if you are a business.
Provide a valid D-U-N-S Number (required for organization accounts)
Complete the account profile including:
- Developer name
- Website URL
- Contact email (must be verified)
- Contact phone number (must be verified)
📌 To get a D-U-N-S Number, visit https://www.dnb.com/duns-number and follow the lookup or request process.
Once approved, you'll gain access to the Play Console where you can manage apps.
📌 Tip: Google usually verifies and activates the account within a few hours to a couple of days.
For Apple App Store (iOS)
- Go to https://developer.apple.com/programs/
- Click Enroll and sign in with your Apple ID
- Choose Company/Organization (required for publishing under a brand name)
Requirements:
- D-U-N-S Number (required for company accounts)
- Legal Entity Name (your registered business name)
- Legal Authority to sign agreements on behalf of the company
- Business website
Finding your D-U-N-S Number:
- Visit https://developer.apple.com/enroll/duns-lookup/
- Enter your business details
- If you don’t have one, request a new number (free)
After enrolling:
- Pay the $99/year Apple Developer fee
- Wait 2–3 days for Apple to verify and activate your account
📌 Note: Use your company name as it will be displayed on the App Store.
Once your account is approved, you’ll gain access to App Store Connect.
How to Share Access with Us
Once your developer accounts are created, share access with us so we can submit the app on your behalf.
Google Play Console:
- Go to Users and Permissions
- Click Invite New User
- Use the email address we will share with you
- Assign Admin or Release Manager access
Apple App Store:
- Log into App Store Connect
- Go to Users and Access
- Click + to invite a new user
- Use the email address we will share with you
- Role: App Manager or Admin
- Make sure to check the box that grants access to Certificates, Identifiers & Profiles — this is necessary for us to create signing keys and manage provisioning profiles
What Happens After You Share Access
Once we receive access:
- We’ll prepare the app build for submission
- Upload all required assets
- Fill in metadata (description, categories, etc.)
- Submit for review
The review process usually takes:
- Google Play: 1–3 days
- Apple App Store: 2–7 days (can vary)
