Does AMP work/ integrate with other apps?

In order to make your AMP pages super fast, Google places restrictions on AMP pages. In particular, they very strictly limit Javascript (which is the language that allows you to set rules and automate stuff on a webpage). This means that not all apps work with AMP.

In general, apps that do not affect or reside in the front-end (the part that the user sees) would work. Backend apps, such as Oberlo, post-order processing, inventory, or any apps that don't modify your shop's page HTML structure all most likely work on AMP! This is because AMP pages are kept in sync with your existing shop's backend structure like inventory quantity, collection ordering, etc.

In-cart apps, such as in-cart upsells or post-purchase apps, also most-likely work on AMP, since AMP doesn't modify your cart or checkout experience. When a user checks out, they are always taken to your non-AMP site. You can test your checkout experience before ever publishing an AMP page. Simply open any AMP page URL and click "Add to Cart".

Apps that change a page's HTML to affect what a customer sees or those that monitor a user's actions, would not work unless we are able to build custom integrations. We have built integrations for several apps in particular for most of the largest review apps. We also support some functionality provided by apps in our themes itself. You can find a list of our integrations on the dashboard. If you don't see an app listed in our integrations, and you want to figure out if it works on AMP, simply open any AMP page URL and browse your page to make sure you get the desired result.
