I don't see my theme on AMP - is this a problem?

No, this is not a problem.  Our app creates an independent AMP theme for your AMP pages. So, if you use a separate theme (say Turbo theme) as your theme on Shopify and you use (for example) the Blank theme as your AMP theme, then there is no inherent problem.  The difference in styling between AMP and non-AMP is a typical experience of any AMP platform, such as AMP on WordPress, Magento, BigCommerce, etc.  Google doesn't have a problem with the visual variation.  You'll still receive AMP benefits in the form of page speed and SEO.

But why isn't my theme listed on AMP?

There aren't any theme developers who offer AMP versions of their entire theme. So what we do is converting popular themes into AMP on our own, and allowing you to choose which AMP theme you'd like to use.  This requires a lot of work and time all the while ensuring that our themes score well on speed and to support the existing integrations we have. If interested, you can also contact your theme developer directly and ask them to collaborate with us, which would certainly speed up the process! Over time, we hope to include more and more themes into our app or build automation that can replicate your theme as closely as possible. 

But I want my AMP theme to look exactly like my original Shopify store.

We do understand that you may want your AMP pages to have a similar look to your non-AMP pages for consistency. For most customers, using the blank theme gives you enough flexibility to keep your branding consistent. The theme editor allows you to edit the styling of your shop to customize fonts, colors and other styles. You can also add CSS to your AMP pages to make them more similar through our Custom CSS feature. It is unlikely that you can exactly match your AMP and non-AMP pages but for most merchants, despite the differences, they opt for AMP pages with their huge speed and SEO advantage.
